Kannagi - Verdict Absolutely Hilarious!!!!!!

I mentioned this anime in an earlier post but that was after watching 1 episode. So, here is the update after watching all 13 episodes and it's quite simple. WATCH THIS ANIME. Say, your feeling miserable....you have no money, you've been grounded, someone annoyed you or your just feeling down in the dumps. Well, this is the kind of anime that will put a beaming smile like ^_____^ on your face. It's totally fun and like the title says its absolutely hilarious!!!!

The main character Nagi sama is a goddess with a split personality who comes to life after Jin carves a statue from a sacred tree. She is a brilliantly fun character and definitely has qualities befitting of a goddess....that's right all bow before me!!!!! Well, as if one goddess wasn't enough for poor Jin to handle along comes Nagi's rival, Zange who happens to be her twin sister. They both prove to be a handful for poor art student Jin who is suddenly surrounded by Nagi, Zante and his childhood friend Tsugumi. This trio together forms the Crazy Shrine Maidens who make this anime so entertaining and if these characters aren't enough the rest of the cast are equally quirky and insane.

Kannagi plays with a few things like Jin and all the maidens competiting for his attention, it even plays with the whole otaku thing with an episode dealing with the Maid cafe culture ( you will DIE laughing) and even karaoke. All this while Nagi and Zante have to compete to obtain the followers to worship them so that they can maintain their goddess status. I don't want to say too much about this anime, so i'll keep it simple. You want to put a smile on your face? Well, just watch it!!!!!!!!!!!!
