New Spring Anime Collection - Part 1

New batch of anime will be starting shortly so I’m posting a few here in case you feel like starting something new. I’m only posting the ones that are due to start on 30th March 2009 to 3rd April 2009----I will be back with the rest in a few days----didn’t want to overload you with too much at once (or is that I didn’t want to do a long post because I’m like trying to watch Shakugan no Shana!!!!).

Cookin Idol Ai! Mai! Main! クッキンアイドル アイ！マイ！まいん！ (Japanese)


Cooking Idol teaches children how to cook through instruction of the main character, MAIN. The show itself is divided into an animated segment featuring MAIN, and a live-action segment featuring the voice actor of MAIN, Fukuhara Haruka, as she practices the cooking herself.

Each episode is 10 mins long----sounds cute!!!!

A new 3D CGI anime was announced to be aired everyday from April 1st 2009 to March 31st 2010. A gravure idol Asada Misako plays the main character Carady. Other characters are played by the students of Kyoto University of Art and Design Department of Character Designing. It is a short comedy animation about the jokes from all parts of the world.

Apparently 365 episodes long…GAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Asura Cryin'

An anime adaptation of Gakuto Mikumo and Nao Watanuki's Asura Cryin' light novels has been green-lit for television release in 2009. The announcement was made during the final stage presentation at the Dengeki Bunko Aki no Saiten (Dengeki Books' Fall Festival) event on Sunday. (Wolf and Spice's second anime season was also announced at the same time.) The semi-serious school action story revolves around Tomoharu Natsume, a boy who has been haunted by a ghosty girl who was a childhood friend. Mikumo and ASCII MediaWorks will publish the 11th volume of the light novel series on Friday. Mikumo wrote a novel based on Takashi Shiina's Zettai Karen Children manga, which was also adapted into anime.

A spate of mafia assassinations occurs in America, the work of the mysterious organization named Inferno. Witnesses are usually killed, but the man is captured and taken to be brainwashed into "Zwei", Inferno's newest assassin, with no memory of who he is. From this point on, Zwei is drawn into a world of conspiracy, deceit and violence.

Needless to say what kind of anime this one will BE!!!!!
